These days, Zoe is excited to share her brand-new documentary called Bird Country. This film is a story of survival, science, and shared responsibility. She calls it a “love letter to birds; and a wake-up call for us all. Because if we can’t protect the smallest, lightest travellers among us, what hope do we have of protecting ourselves?”
The setting is a rugged outcropping at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean where millions of birds from across the hemisphere touch down each year. They’re hungry, exhausted, and driven by instinct. For all we’ve learned, Zoe says, migration remains one of nature’s great mysteries.
Given her background in anthropology and her passion for nature, Zoe brings curiosity, warmth, and fearless adventure to every project. You can check out Season 3 of Wild Nova Scotia now for free on YouTube.
