Mayor Mamdani showed himself to be callow and immature by insulting the Jews of New York with his smearing of Israel even when he was memorializing the atrocity of the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attack that slaughtered more than 1,000 Israelis.

So deep is Mamdani’s revulsion towards for the state of Israel that even on the mournful anniversary he couldn’t restrain his compulsion to stoke hatred with charges of genocide and war crimes and child killing and the bombing of ambulances and occupation and apartheid.

He published a 211 word statement, and while the first 49 words were appropriate, he didn’t stop there and had to add the lie of genocide and the rest of his familiar litany against the Jewish state. On Twitter, his screed has been viewed more than 20 million times. So........
