Athena Bultitude had been on a night out in Great Yarmouth and was “significantly intoxicated by alcohol”, Norwich Crown Court was told.

As she was being sick, a group of girls who had been roller skating and skateboarding in the town - who did not know her - went to her aid.

Jude Durr, prosecuting, said the group, which included two sisters, attempted to get medical assistance for Bultitude but she refused any help.

Instead, she pulled a lock knife from her jacket and slashed one of the girls four times across the torso.

Mr Durr said at first the victim thought she had been "scratched by her finger nails".

It was only later she realised she had been slashed with a knife.

The victim, who was "shocked, upset and confused", suffered a cut which might........
