Was man killed over £100? Jury shown texts sent minutes before 'murderous attack'

Benjamin Katabana, 28, has gone on trial accused of the murder of Ucheena Okirie, following a fatal attack in shared student accommodation in the city at Somerleyton House, off Unthank Road.

Norwich Crown Court heard Katabana and 33-year-old Mr Okirie, a Nigerian national who was also known as Uche, knew each other but had fallen out "over money".

Mr Okirie, a former post-graduate student at the University of East Anglia's School of International Development, suffered a stab wound that went through his windpipe and aorta - the main artery in the body - in the attack on November 22 last year.
