Man with 'distorted views' told girl he had to rape her to 'help her'
Francisco Gusmao told the girl - who was 16 or 17 at the time - she "had to do it" and that he was "helping her".
Norwich Crown Court heard the 49-year-old, who is originally from East Timor in Southeast Asia, raped the teen on three occasions in Great Yarmouth between September 2016 and September 2018.

Chris Youell, prosecuting, said Gusmao, who spoke in court through a Tetum interpreter, had struck the girl - who cannot be identified for legal reasons - with a charger cable, cutting her leg, before one of the rapes.
He then told her he was going to rape her "because you're there" adding he was "doing this to help you".
She said she saw the cable she had been struck with, was "scared" and was worried she would be "beaten again".
