Man stabbed his wife while she slept as part of 14 year campaign of abuse against her
On other occasions Aaron Laskey, 37, threw a knife at her and strangled her to such an extent she feared she might die.
He appeared at Norwich Crown Court on Monday where he was jailed for 30 months.

Danielle O'Donovan, prosecuting, said his violent behaviour towards his now ex-wife, which was witnessed by their two daughters, represented an "ongoing pattern".
"This was a campaign," she said.
The court was told that when he attacked his wife while she was sleeping she initially thought she was ill as she felt a sharp point in her abdomen.
But she then realised she was bleeding and found a hole in her nightclothes.
Laskey, of Camborne Close, Norwich, admitted two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against his ex-wife and another........
