The body of Oliver Fawkes was discovered in woodland close to his family home in West Bilney, near King’s Lynn, on November 25 last year.

An inquest into the 21-year-old's death heard the Master's student, who was studying at the University of East Anglia, had been diagnosed with seborrheic dermatitis - a skin condition also known as dandruff.

He was prescribed cream in September 2023, and later medicated shampoo which he continued to order via the NHS app.

In July 2024, he started ordering hair loss tablets from Manual, a digital health platform operated by Menwell Limited, which provides home delivery of supplements for hair loss.

This came after he had grown "dissatisfied with the result of the medication that was provided" to him previously and "tried an alternative to improve his situation", according to assistant coroner Maeve Sykes.
