Last year, police launched a probe after being called to a suspected attempted murder at Riverside Retail Park, where a man in his 30s was found with serious stab wounds just after midnight on Thursday, July 31.

The man was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Another man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

Following the arrest he was released on bail until October 27, but police have confirmed the man will face no further action and investigations are continuing.

At the time of the incident those living in the area said they were shocked that it happened close to their street which they describe as peaceful. 

Yasmin Deans, who described Wherry Road where she lives as pretty quiet, said: "It's shocking when it happens so close to where you live.

"You would not expect it, especially that level of escalation."
