Richard Balls, author of Be Stiff: The Stiff Records Story, is marking the day the brand released its first single with an event in Cromer on August 14.

Mr Balls will be talking about the history of the label which championed acts such as Madness, Ian Dury, Nick Lowe, the Damned and the Pogues.
