People living in Larkman Lane, just off Dereham Road, and the surrounding roads were unable to shower, worried about flushing their toilets and getting drinking water from their taps as they waited for Anglian Water to repair the burst pipe.

Some say they were without water for most of Monday and the repair times given by the provider were repeatedly pushed back.

They have called for the Anglian Water to give more realistic estimations for repair times to enable people to better prepare.
