The rear of 60 Earlham Green Lane could be the site of up to three homes after Norwich City Council have given permission in principle for the development.

The application was submitted in 2023 by Roger and Catherine Churchill.

Details for what the houses could look like are not yet available, but the application suggests designs will be revealed at a later stage in the planning process.

The plans explain: "The submitted site location plan shows that it would deliver a comparable arrangement to that opposite, retaining a similar and appropriate sized plot for 60 Earlham Green Lane, with a good level of amenity space for both number 60 and the new properties.

"At the first stage PiP process, there is no requirement to submit any further details which are left to the subsequent ‘technical details consent’ stage."
