Under the scheme, Merryhill House and an indoor swimming pool will be knocked down at Merryhill Country Park Hotel, in Honingham near Ringland.

In the application, from agents Laister Planning, it said: "It is proposed to demolish the two existing buildings within the Merryhill Country Park site, as they are now surplus to requirements and no longer essential to the site's operation.
