How a Norwich drugs feud killer turned to dark side despite showing early promise
In September 2024, he plunged a Rambo-style knife into the chest of teenage drug dealer Kalvin Taylor before robbing him of his drugs and cash in a Mile Cross flat.
The teen died after the two-minute raid and his body was discovered almost a week later. Bangura was arrested soon after.
This week, he was sentenced to a total of 31 years, reduced to 29 years and 153 days in prison due to time already served in custody.

Bangura had previously been found guilty by a jury in January for murdering 19-year-old Mr Taylor following an eight-week trial at Norwich Crown Court.
At the time of the murder, Bangura had been working for the Lenny Line - a rival drugs gang to the victim.
He had immersed himself in the murky dog-eat-dog world of class A drug dealing, where the clothes and trainers worn by the perpetrators might be expensive but the lives of rival dealers and addicts are cheap.
But it had not always been that way.

SHOWING EARLY PROMISE
Bangura and his younger siblings - a brother and sister - were looked after and raised by his mother, a nurse.
He went to school in Westminster and having studied A-Levels in economics, business studies and history had wanted to go on and study at Middlesex........
