REVEALED: Police believe tracking device was suspicious object placed under man's car

Bresnik Ademaj, the owner of the vehicle, said this confirms his suspicions of a plot against him, adding "there is no other reason" a tracker would be placed there.

The incident last Thursday resulted in cordons being placed around Bank Plain, where the black Audi was parked, for more than five hours as a bomb disposal squad worked to make sure the device was safe.

A spokeswoman for Norfolk Police said: "We are continuing to investigate after a suspicious object was placed under a car in Norwich last week.

"Police attended Bank Plain at around 3.30pm on Thursday, 11 September, along with other emergency services including the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EoD) team.

"The EoD made the device safe, until it could be identified. This resulted in two bangs.

"Enquiries have since established that the device was not dangerous and there is no wider risk to the public.

"The device is believed to have been a tracking device and this is now being investigated as a stalking........
