The figures, which were released after a Freedom of Information (FOI) request was submitted, showed that the Dereham Road inbound camera close to the BP garage near New Costessey snapped 1,754 drivers in 2024.

The minimum fine for speeding is £100 and, assuming everyone caught paid this amount, this single camera would have earned the government just under £200,000 in penalty charges.
