Calls to introduce permit-only parking on city road
People living in Redfern Road and Barclay Road avoid leaving their homes in fear of losing their parking space and are forced to dump their cars on pavements.

They are urging Norwich City Council, which oversees permits across the city, to install parking restrictions in the Heartsease area.
Parking permits in Norwich currently cost between £21.60 and £50.40 a year, depending on vehicle size.
The calls for action follow a major crash on Redfern Road last year, where a van ploughed into a row of parked cars, leaving five vehicles written off.
