Space Studios, located in the Norwich Lanes, has applied to Norwich City Council for a variation to its existing premises licence.

The venue, which hosts arts and music events, has been operating under this licence since 2016 but says its current permitted closing time of 1.30am is "limiting" on weekends.

In the application, its owners have pleaded with City Hall to approve the bid to open into the early hours of the morning to help the business remain financially viable.
