Football takeover specialist named leader of Norfolk Reform (and likely council too)
David Bick was elected as the leader of the 40-strong Reform UK group at a meeting on Tuesday, after his party's success in last week's elections.
The party did not publish a manifesto going into the May 7 elections and Mr Bick said his group would take time to get to grips with the state of the council's finances before deciding on specific policies.
Mr Bick, who was one of two existing Reform UK councillors at County Hall, said: "We really cannot do anything until after the council's annual general meeting on Thursday, May 28.
"It's at that point that the council will elect its leader and all the cabinet posts and committee chairs will be worked out.
"We are working on that at the moment. The big piece of work we need to do is to get to grips with the financial situation of the council.
"Until we have done that it would be lunatic to be saying anything specific. We have got to look........
