Brown & Co chose RABI (the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution) as its charity of the year for 2025/2026, with a year-long programme of fundraising activities including bake sales, quiz nights, a netball tournament and game nights.

Staff across the firm’s 12 UK offices took part, aiming to raise money and build awareness of the practical, financial and emotional support which RABI offers farming communities.

The office teams in Norwich, Holt and King’s Lynn completed a 12-mile coastal walk from Wells-next-the-Sea to Cley.

And standout personal challenges included a 12-day trek to Everest Base Camp by James Brown, ABC partner in the Banbury office, while Steve Willerton, a surveyor based in Bury St Edmunds, completed a wing walk.

Brown&Co partner Andrew Fundell, said: “We are very proud of all the efforts the 340 partners and staff at Brown&Co have made over the year to raise this fantastic total for this important charity in our rural community

"Thank you to our clients, family and friends for your incredible support in helping us fundraise for RABI.”

In addition to raising funds, Brown&Co staff spent time in farming communities during the autumn distributing care packages and raising awareness of RABI’s services.

Paul Pirie, head of fundraising at RABI, said: “On behalf of everyone at RABI, the Farmers Charity, I’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the incredible team at Brown&Co for their dedication and creativity in supporting our work over the past year.

"From quiz nights and raffles to the extraordinary challenge of trekking to Everest Base Camp, their efforts have been nothing short of inspiring, and every pound raised will help us continue to provide vital practical, financial and emotional support to farming people across England and Wales."
