Locals fighting the controversial East Pye solar farm claim they have been made to feel powerless by the developer behind the 2,700-acre project.

The scheme could be built almost entirely across a corridor of farmland in South Norfolk, stretching from Great Moulton in the west to Seething in the east.

Many of the villages are surrounded by protected landscapes and conservation areas, designed to maintain the character of the picturesque countryside.
