Law firm opens office in the city as part of regional expansion
Ellisons, a top 200 law firm, has opened an office at the Digital Hub in Crown Road.
It says the move will help it to support more SMEs and families across Norwich and the wider Norfolk area.
While it marks Ellisons' first office in Norwich, the firm has had clients in the city for many years, and has local offices in Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds.
The new Norwich office will be led by insolvency partner Adam McCaw, family partner Francesca Easter, and corporate and commercial partner Ryan Cracknell.
All three have previously worked in Norwich and live locally.
Guy Longhurst, managing partner at Ellisons, said: “This is an important move for us. As an independent, partner-led firm, we focus on building long-term relationships with businesses, their leadership teams and their families, often across multiple generations.
"Norwich gives us a strong platform to continue that across Norfolk.”
Lizzy Firmin, chief operating officer at Ellisons, added: “Opening in Norwich feels like a natural next step for us.
"We have worked with clients in the area for a long time, so having a base here means we can be closer to them and more involved in the local business community whilst also supporting our Norwich-based colleagues and providing increased opportunities for recruitment and expansion."
