Astley & Co previously had a branch in Sprowston, on the outskirts of Norwich, but now operates from owner Yvonne Astley's home office on an appointment-only basis.

She said she realised while working from home during Covid that the company didn't need a high street premises to sell property.

"When our crumbling and cold branch required further repairs, it felt like the right time to embrace a smarter, more modern way of working," she said.

Astley & Co is now exclusively online, operating from 7am to 7pm, seven days a week.

Calls are answered either directly or via a remote receptionist.

"We are using technology to work for us and to go above and beyond. Our clients benefit from a responsive, gold-standard service that fits around their lives.”

The small, independent estate agent started in 2011.
