Rajpal Yadav surrenders at Tihar Jail after Delhi High Court rejects further relief in cheque bounce case

Rajpal Yadav case update: Rajpal Yadav surrendered before the authorities at Tihar Jail on February 5, after the Delhi High Court refused to grant him any further relief in a long-running cheque bounce case. The Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor appeared before jail officials at around 4 pm and complied with the court’s clear direction after repeated extensions failed to resolve the matter.

According to reports, Rajpal informed the court before surrendering that he had arranged a cheque worth Rs 25 lakh and assured that the remaining pending amount would also be paid. He requested additional time to settle the dues. However, the court maintained that surrender was mandatory before any request for relief could even be examined. Jail authorities are now following standard........
