Veteran Bengali filmmaker Raja Sen, who won the National Film Award for ‘Damu’, has died at 71. He passed away at a Kolkata hospital after health complications.

New Delhi: Veteran Bengali filmmaker Raja Sen, who won the National Film Award for his directorial debut Damu, died at a Kolkata Hospital on Sunday (August 17) at the age of 71.

According to PTI, he has been receiving treatment at SSKM Hospital for several health complications and was on ventilator support.
