New Delhi: Months after India conducted Operation Sindoor against nine terror camps in Pakistan, India on Sunday increased its Defence Budget for the financial year 2026-27 by 15 percent. The allocation is a major boost for the armed forces.

Presenting the Union Budget on Sunday, Union Finance Minister announced Rs 7,84,678 crore as defence outlay for 2026-27 as compared to the allocation of Rs 6,81,210 crore last year.
