PS5 jailbreak tool adds an unofficial game store. Here are the risks

XENO TOOL has added an unofficial game store for jailbroken PS5 consoles. The GitHub project is real, but its operation and security are not independently verified and legal risks remain.

A new unofficial tool for jailbroken PlayStation 5 consoles is offering a built-in game store alongside cheats, file transfers and payload controls. The software, called XENO TOOL, appeared through a public GitHub project and was updated to version 3.2.71 on October 3.

The headline feature is an on-console store interface that its developer says can browse a large PS4 and PS5 catalogue. It is not connected to Sony’s PlayStation Store and Sony has not endorsed it. The project’s claims have not been independently tested by News9 and we will not be posting links to the Github.
