Jack Dorsey’s Block, the company behind Square and Cash App, has introduced Dessa, a new artificial intelligence model that can speak and listen simultaneously, much like two people having a normal conversation. Announced on October 23, the experimental voice AI can handle interruptions, respond to emotions and even laugh during conversations.
