Today’s Breaking News, September 23, 2026: Lady Shri Ram College for Women cancelled regular classes on Tuesday and moved Wednesday’s classes online after a 17-year-old girl was allegedly raped by three men at Aastha Kunj Park near Kalkaji Mandir.

The college, located around 2 km from the park, said student safety remained its top priority. Principal Kanika K Ahuja said faculty mentors and the college counsellor would be available to support students.

“After we got to know about the unfortunate incident, we cancelled classes. The safety, security and well-being of our students is of paramount importance to us.”

Three men, including one injured in a brief exchange of fire with police, were arrested in connection with the case.
