New Delhi: Former MP and BJP’s candidate from Kalkaji assembly constituency Ramesh Bidhuri could lose his ticket after his sexist and derogatory comments against two women politicians – Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Singh and Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi. Bidhuri, a motor mouth and a serial offender when it comes to making offensive remarks against rival politicians has one of the foulest tongues in Indian politics. His remarks against Atishi and Priyanka Gandhi have rattled the top brass of BJP and according to party insiders, two serious discussions about replacing Bidhuri have already taken place at the senior level despite public apology by the candidate.

BJP leadership believes that with elections in a state where majority has repeatedly eluded it since 1998, it has to tread very carefully and its senior leaders like Bidhuri cannot afford to alienate a big vote bank like women.
