BJP leaves two seats for Bihar allies in Delhi, also a lesson for Congress to learn!
New Delhi: It gives out a good message. It is a sign of a healthy alliance, thriving and ready to take on the opponents. Without much fuss or talks, the BJP has left two seats for its NDA allies Janata Dal-United (JDU) and Lok Janshakti Party – Ram Vilas (LJP-RV) for the Delhi assembly elections scheduled for February 5.
Releasing its fourth and final list of nine candidates on Thursday, BJP decided to contest on 68 seats and allow its two regional allies from Bihar to try their luck from Burari (JDU) and Deoli (LJP -RV). According to information, both the parties will contest on their respective symbols – arrow and helicopter.
Contrast the BJP’s attitude with Congress’s and its treatment of INDIA allies, especially when it came to seat sharing. Not only did Congress fail to adjust its INDIA ally AAP in the 2024 Haryana assembly elections, it was greedy enough to not share even two seats with Samajwadi Party during the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections in 2023.
