Mercedes’ might bring one off-roader that could float as patent show

Mercedes' has patented an off-roader that could float on water and drive back onto land without assistance. The systems requires a two-axle, four-wheel vehicle and even though at patent stage, it could be an interesting project from the brand.

New Delhi: Mercedes-Benz has filed a patent for something really unusual even for an off-roader. The technology could allow an SUV to float on water and drive back onto land without assistance. The system is engineered for a two-axle, four-wheel vehicle that can enter a lake or river, stabilize itself while floating and eventually go back to the shore.

The patent lists Joerg Kneip as the inventor and Mercedes-Benz Group AG as the applicant with the German patent office. However, the technology is still at the patent stage. Currently, there is no indication that Mercedes........
