New Delhi: For the briefest time of my life, I had to attend online classes during the lockdown. With my laptop stowed many miles away from me, I had to rely on a 5th-generation Apple iPad, and boy, was I finding life easy. Amidst everything that could go wrong, the iPad would never struggle to connect and do the job, even if I did. In fact, it was hard to part ways with it at the end of my classes and go back to a laptop.
When life happened, it was a laptop that served the purpose of typing more for me. Five years down the line, an ASUS Pad T3201M5A came to the office, and I decided to relieve those glorious days of having a tablet at my disposal for a while. In its first weekend with me, I was technically doing all my watching on it. Out of my house, it was also my partner to watch Liverpool’s win over Bournemouth. Inside, it was what I used to finish The Grand Tour and watch the Azerbaijan GP as well.
The ASUS Pad T3201M5A is Asus’s newest attempt to redefine how productivity-focused can be framed. The tablet market has increasingly blurred the line between entertainment and productivity devices, and ASUS is taking a similar approach is taking the same route as well. The T3201M5A is priced at Rs 45,990 and has a MediaTek chipset. It comes with a vibrant OLED display and has a 9,000 mAh battery underneath its frame. We used it for more than 10 days, and here’s the review of the ASUS Pad T3201M5A.

It’s a lightweight tablet with sleek dimensions which make it extremely easy to carry around
The ASUS Pad comes with a clean and minimalist design philosophy instead of making it showy. Measuring 6.5mm in thickness and weighing 523 grams, it is light enough to never be a bother when carried around. I have carried it with a laptop to the office, and never once felt its weight. Even as a handheld device, it feels comfortable to carry around.
The tablet also comes with a fibreglass back cover. The slim profile also makes it easy for things like reading, watching videos or taking notes. The 92 per cent screen-to-body ratio also keeps the bezels around the display quite slim. The big screen........
