New Delhi: Apple is facing a £2 billion ($2.7 billion) legal claim in the UK brought on behalf of app developers. The brand has been accused of using its control over the iPhone ecosystem to impose unfair restrictions on third-party businesses. The case was filed at the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal on Thursday and centres around Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, introduced in 2021.
