Satwik-Chirag reach China Masters final for 3rd Time, overcome Malaysian pair

India’s Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty battled past Malaysia’s Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub and Tan Wee Kiong in a thrilling three-game contest on Saturday, September 5, to book their place in the China Masters final for the third time.

New Delhi: India’s Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty produced a sensational performance to overcome the Malaysian duo of Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub and Tan Wee Kiong to qualify for their third China Masters final on Saturday, September 5.

The Indian pair finished runner-up at the 2023 and 2025 editions of the tournament. They recovered from a second-game defeat to prevail 21-15, 18-21, 21-11 over the Malaysians in a one-hour-and-five-minute match.
