India could face a selection challenge as the 2026 Asian Games in Japan overlap with the three-match home ODI series against the West Indies.

New Delhi: Team India is facing a selection dilemma ahead of the Asian Games 2026 in Japan and the ODI series against West Indies at home, with two squads in action simultaneously and even on the same day. The same thing happened three years ago, when Ruturaj Gaikwad-led T20I team was participating in the Asian Games in China, while Rohit Sharma and Co. were preparing for the ODI World Cup 2023.
