New Delhi: Andhra Pradesh’s Pinnapuram Integrated Renewable Energy Project (IREP) has received high praise from globally acclaimed environmentalist and former UN Environment chief Erik Solheim, who described it as the “future of energy”.

Solheim, who served as Norway’s Minister for Environment and International Development (2005–2012) and led landmark global sustainability initiatives, visited Pinnapuram in Kurnool district earlier this week.
