GST on soaps, hair oil, bicycles reduced to 5 per cent from 12–18 per cent

New Delhi: The GST Council on Wednesday reduced tax on several household and daily-use products widely consumed by the middle class, including soaps, hair oil and bicycles, cutting rates to 5 per cent from 12 or 18 per cent earlier.
