INDIA Bloc marches to Election Commission over SIR, demands CEC Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation

Around 19 parties participated in the demonstration. The participating groups included the Congress, Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress, RJD, NCP-SP, Shiv Sena (UBT), Left parties, National Conference, PDP, JMM, IUML and several regional allies.

New Delhi: The INDIA Bloc parties on Tuesday took to the streets of Delhi protesting the Election Commission of India’s (ECI) functioning and the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
