I&B Ministry advises TV channels to carry sign language interpretation for Rashtriya Ekta Diwas telecast

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has advised private satellite TV channels to carry Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations with sign language interpretation. The events mark Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 151st birth anniversary on October 31. Doordarshan will broadcast the celebrations live, while participating DD networks will also stream them on their official YouTube channels.

New Delhi: The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has issued an advisory to private satellite television channels on carrying sign language interpretation during the live telecast of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations on October 31, 2026.
