Apple may be preparing to revisit one of the iPhone’s oldest ideas. The company has reportedly tested a version of the Apple Pencil for its first foldable iPhone, nearly two decades after Steve Jobs famously dismissed styluses during the original iPhone launch.

The foldable iPhone is widely expected to be introduced at Apple’s “Surprise and shine” event on September 9. Apple has confirmed the event for 10:30 PM IST. The company has not officially confirmed the foldable phone, its name or Apple Pencil support yet.
