Audi A2 is back as an EV now, with up to 645 km range and 322 hp
Audi has revived the A2 as a compact electric hatchback with rear-wheel drive, up to 322 hp and a claimed range of around 645 km. The new model focuses heavily on efficiency, aerodynamics and cabin space.
Audi has brought back the A2 name for a new compact electric hatchback aimed at buyers looking for a smaller EV with strong range and everyday practicality. The new A2 E-tron will sit below Audi’s larger electric models and effectively takes over the space left by the A1 and Q2.
The car is much larger than the original A2 from the early 2000s, but it keeps some of that model’s efficiency-first thinking. Audi has focused on aerodynamics, low energy use and cabin space, which gives the new A2 a very different role from the brand’s bigger EVs.
