US: 5 wounded in shooting at Virginia State University, suspect arrested

A shooting was reported from near Virginia State University on late Saturday night. The suspect, a 19-year-old is under arrest. The shooting left 5 people including 1 student of the University injured. The police have not revealed the motive behind the crime.

New Delhi: A shooting was reported from near Virginia State University at around 1:30 am Saturday. According to reports, 5 people have been wounded in this attack, including 1 student of the University, who is 20 years old. The other 4 injured in the incident were not students on the campus, said the police. One of those injured is in a critical condition, they added.

The police have so far not released the names of the injured persons.
