Odisha: 4 private schools teachers, 1 peon arrested for raping Class 7 student in Kendrapara

A Class 7 student was raped repeatedly by 4 private school teachers and a peopn over the last 1 year. The incident was reported from Odisha's Kendrapara. The complaint was filed by the girl's mother, after the child refused to go to school and narrated her ordeal.

New Delhi: Four teachers and a peon of a private school in Odisha’s Kendrapara, were arrested for allegedly raping a minor student. The Class 7 student was reportedly raped for over a year, said news reports.

Woman teacher also held, charged with abetment: Police

The police said that the 12-year-old girl was raped multiple times in the past 1 year. A woman teacher was also held on abetment charges.

According to a report in the New Indian Express, all the 5 accused have been booked for gang-rape of a minor, POCSO Act and other relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The woman teacher faces........
