Bhagwat's Bihar trip: Balancing social initiatives & political outreach in poll year
After a massive win in the Delhi Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party has now set its eyes on Bihar, the Assembly elections for which will be held somewhere around October-November. All the political parties have become active in Bihar regarding the assembly elections. Recently PM Modi was on a tour in Bihar; now RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is set to visit Bihar on March 6, where he will inaugurate the new building of Saraswati Vidya Mandir in Veerpur, Supaul.
Bhagwat’s visit to the state comes after almost four years, as his previous visit in 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Sangh chief will also communicate with the volunteers on issues related to society and nation-building. Bhagwat’s Bihar tour is considered very important due to the upcoming election. The visit also gains significance as it will be the first time that the RSS Sarsanghchalak will address a programme on the Indo-Nepal border.
The visit also attains significance as wherever assembly elections were held, the BJP performed well in those places with the help of the RSS, be it Maharashtra, Haryana, or Delhi, and even formed its government in these places.
