A Gorakhpur bride was rescued from a locked room after her family uncovered a chilling plot to sell her off just days after her wedding.
New Delhi: A shocking incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur left everyone amazed when the case of fraud and alleged human trafficking came into light. The groom posed himself as an IAS officer and was exposed shortly after the wedding.
In a grand weeding, the bride’s family spent around Rs 30 lakh on the ceremony which included Rs 15 lakh dowry. After the accused who is identified as Pritam Kumar Nishad was caught, the bride’s father filed a complaint against him.
