Washington: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met US President Donald Trump at the White House during his visit to the United States. Zelensky arrived with his team, and Trump personally received him.

Trump said, “We will sign the minerals deal today.” Under this deal, Ukraine could grant partial rights to the US over its mineral resources. In return, the US would provide military assistance to Ukraine. This meeting came at a crucial time, as the Russia-Ukraine war had been ongoing for three years.

Zelensky said, “I understand what Europe is ready to do. I want to ask Trump what the US is ready to do.” The deal could grant the US partial rights over Ukraine’s mineral resources in exchange for military aid.
