NTA's new fiasco or minor hiccup: JEE Mains results URL created but NO scorecard yet

New Delhi: Another day, another issue. About 13 lakh students, who appeared for the JEE Mains Session 1 test, held between January 22-30, were in for a rude shock on February 11. The reason? There is considerable confusion whether the result has been declared by the National Testing Agency, or have they developed cold feet at the last minute leaving the students in a limbo. The NTA has followed standard procedure; released the provisional answer key on February 4, kept the objection window open for 2 days and closed the same by February 6. They even released the final answer key by evening of February 10. As was on expected lines, the NTA has also created a landing page for the results declared on February 11, and the same can be seen as you land at the website to view scorecard.

All good? No, not really.

While the testing agency had in its notification in October 2024 declared that they will be releasing the results by January 12, students were hoping that NTA would stick to historical practise of releasing the result and the scorecard a few hours after the final answer key is made public for students to view and assess. The fact that they even updated the 2025 result declared URL was enough to convince the students that the testing agency had in fact declared the results on Tuesday. The link, however, shows an error. See here.

It is........
