Mutual fund AUM can rocket in the 10 years, says Groww-Bain report
Kolkata: Traditionally, the older generations have been imparting money and investment “Dos and Don’ts” to the younger generations in this country. However, a recent report titled ‘How India Invests’ by Bain and Company in partnership with Groww has indicated that the younger generation in budging the elders to invest in market-related instruments as the equity cult spreads in a society becoming more and more eager to earn inflation-beating returns.
The report has also said that the shift in investment culture could raise mutual fund penetration to the double of its current rates — from 10% to 20% — over the next 10 years. This push can take the sector’s total AUM past the Rs 300 trillion by 2035.
