With a market cap of $137.3 billion, or approximately ₹13.1 lakh crore, the company has become the world’s fifth most valuable telecom company. In this regard, Jio has overtaken Germany’s leading telecom company, Deutsche Telekom. With Jio’s entry, the Indian telecom sector’s position in the global market has strengthened. However, Jio’s valuation remains quite high compared to the world’s largest telecom companies.
