New Delhi: A 20-year-old Indian national has been arrested in Germany after allegedly strangling his 19-year-old girlfriend to death in Arizona and fleeing the United States, authorities said.

Varun Batchigari was identified as the prime suspect in the death of Julissa Rubi Salazar, a student at the University of Arizona, whose body was found inside her apartment in Tucson on August 6 after her family requested a welfare check. Police said she was unresponsive........
